This article explains how to create a linked liability account for customer deposits.

Detail Steps

Step 1. Open MYOB and log in as a user with privileges to modify accounts.

Step 2. Click Setup then Linked Accounts, then Sales Accounts.

The following screen will show.

Step 3. Tick the check box to track deposits collected from customers and enter the account number for the Liability Account for Customer Deposits.

Step 4. Press OK.
