This article explains how the WMS calculates Inventory Value OnHand.
Detail Steps
Value OnHand is calculated for inventoried Accounting items or forced inventory items with the WMS.
The WMS also allows you to store cost figures against the items in the WMS for non-inventory accounting items.
This allows you to track value for the goods based on your purchasing prices rather than only last or STD costs.
Turn ON valuation

Login as Admin user.

Open Inventory Item.

Go to Settings Tab.

Change from *None to Average Cost.

Close and confirm the changes.
This needs to be setup for each item individually or contact Datapel Support for a bulk update request.

Workflow Restriction Value OnHand does not look at Last or Standard costs - ONLY AVERAGE COST Batch-based results are not supported. |
