Description
For Datapel WMS to manage stock at various locations, a LOCATION contact must be created. This is a SPECIAL CASE of a Supplier as Datapel WMS requires an “owner” of a location entity.
Detail Steps
To create a Location, first create a Supplier Contact (with XERO Group: Datapel Suppliers), the Account Number will be the shortcut code for the Warehouse Name and is the Display reference shown on most Datapel WMS forms.
In the Primary Person of the LASTNAME field, place the work datapel.location as shown in the example below:
Once synchronised, this will create a new location and related supplier contact in the Datapel WMS.
